With the built-in speakers, some iPhone 15 users have reported hearing cracking

Less than two weeks after its release, the iPhone 15 has already drawn some customer complaints regarding overheating. However, it appears that more users are dissatisfied with their new iPhone for unrelated reasons. There is currently a tiny group of users complaining that the iPhone 15's built-in speakers are malfunctioning. They go on to state that the audio has a rattly and crackly tone.

Crackly sounding speakers on the iPhone 15

Users of several iPhone 15 models who have noticed that the audio sounds distorted and crackly when the volume is set up too high have left numerous comments on a Reddit post. The earpiece speaker appears to be the most impacted, according to the findings.

A user said, "Full volume speaker calls rattle the speaker and sound like liquid inside, and same for music above like 80%. My iPhone 15 Pro Max arrived launch day." Another user commented on Reddit, "Based on my experience, the audio appears to rattle or crackle in specific videos or certain frequency ranges."

One of the persons who complained about his iPhone 15 Pro Max's crackling sound issues was TikToker Milesabovetech. Apple replaced his iPhone twice without charging him because it recognized an issue. Reddit users who own iPhone 15s have also mentioned requesting Apple for replacements, and the issue is still present with newer models.

Commercial Acceptability is the stage at which a good or service is deemed enough for sale but may still have problems that can be fixed under warranty. The product could be improved, but the time it would take to do so would prevent it from meeting important deadlines for sales. Dealing with the issue is less expensive than improving the product.

It's unclear at this time whether the iPhone 15 speakers have a hardware issue or whether this is a software problem, which appears more likely given that the majority of the afflicted users are still having the same issue even after switching to a new iPhone. Apple has not yet acknowledged any associated problems.

Temperature problems

As we've previously mentioned, many iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max customers are dissatisfied with how hot their new handsets become after prolonged use, even for routine tasks like web browsing. It's simple to locate articles on social media concerning iPhone 15 Pro devices overheating, despite the fact that other users assert they are unaffected by the issue.

Apple initially claimed that the reason iPhones were heating up was a typical issue brought on by software. The manufacturer claimed it is typical for the iPhone to get warmer than usual following initial setup, backup restoration, wireless recharging, or when using graphically or computationally demanding apps.

The company did acknowledge that iPhone 15 models are running iOS 17 at excessively high temperatures as a result of a software bug. Apple claims that this is a software issue and that it will release a software update to fix it.
